you may think I am crazie butt .... if the auger has a rounded edge on the flighting on the header it will not ''pinch and pull '' the straw .... the fix there is the grind the standing edge of the flighting back flat ....gives it a square edge to bite in to the crop and a flat edge to move crop ..... ....seriously it makes a TON of difference ......hope this idea helps IHSMOKE
