I went from an 06 f250 with a 6.0 to a 13 f350 with a 6.7. my FIL has a 14 or 15 f250 with the gas. I get 15+ mpg with mine, he gets about 10...around here gas and diesel prices are not too far apart. I can justify the extra expense (in my head maybe!) For the extra milage etc plus the extra power.
