red river valley se of fargo | Ok, so I'm wiring a boat. Don't ask. Anyway there are several pumps that need to run through switches. The pumps are near the battery, and the switches are about 10' away.
Can I just run my hots through switches and and use a common ground to the battery direct?
This would cut the amount of wire in half.
The hots will all be run through a fuse panel fused separately for each function so I believe there shouldn't be any safety issues.
