Ya, we tried it too. It was a real pain. We were approved but the driving examiner didn't like the youth permits, so made sure he failed my son. We gave up. Did he still drive? Yea, and when he tested again, different examiner, the guy said he could sure see our son was from a farm. Had a lot of experience! ;)


I remember taking my drivers test right before I turned 16.. the examiner said I sure was confident driving.

I said "I've been driving for 5 or 6 years"

One of many things I am grateful for growing up on the farm, I can pretty much hop in anything that moves and take right off. I always said I could get a chopper off the ground if you gave me the keys and 10 minutes to figure it out, maybe not for long, but I'd get that sucker off the ground lol.
