Subject: RE: how can oil get in the cylinders?

NESD
When the engine was sitting on its side the engine oil was sitting around the piston and some may have seeped thru the gap in the piston rings and is now on top of the piston, a small amount won't be an issue but with enough it will hydro lock, when turning it over with a bar the rotation will stop when the piston and oil become solid, when spinning with the starter there can be enough momentum to bend a connection rod.
