Montana | I visited a friend near Lamberton Minn,. and he built three sided sheds on concrete apron and beds with corn stalks as he harvests earleage then cuts and bales corn stalks. I know there is a lot of initial investment but I was amazed at how comfortable the cattle were when it was really hot or really cold.
I have a cow calf operation and I have been playing around with allowing them to come into the corral or get under covered roofs and it is amazing how much cattle love corrals and shelter.
I guess you are just like us now, wondering how to keep your operation going and I sure enjoy seeing and learning about what feeders do. The more I see of what you guys do, the more I appreciate you. Same way with a Dairy :) | |
