Jon Hagen - 6/25/2016 23:55 There is a neat little gadget that will replace a Schrader valve while the AC system is charged, without losing the refrigerant charge. It screws on the AC charge fitting to seal in the refrigerant, while removing the old valve, then inserts a new valve. Very slick. Might pay to check if any local AC shops have one.
Would like to see that gadget work, could have used one the other day. Sounds too good to be true. Any more info?

I have this set... Works well as long as there is clearance to withdraw and install the core. Not all ports are well positioned to allow these to work.
