South Texas | Depends how you define quality, or what you're looking for. These will be impressive size cattle, 1600-1800 lbs. They are kind of an experiment to see how this cross would turn out. The next set of these will go to a Gert sale and sell under their Star 5 program as weaned heifers. Been told they drew more attention than the purebreds at brother-in-law's place. The X have about 200 lbs on the purebreds.
Quality as I define it will come from my new brangus bulls and average old cows, I hope. | |
