I suggest looking at Android tablets too. I had an iPad Air, and I never did like it (just lots of quirks that turned me off)
I got rid of the iPad and bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (10" screen) and I really like it. I think it came with 32 GB of ram, but expandable with a Sim card (and a cheap Sim card). It has a rock solid OS and it works well with productivity apps like Goggle Docs (and Drive).
What do I look for when getting an Ipad.
