Driftless SW Wisconsin
A good udder epd bull can greatly improve the udders on heifer calves. The AHA udder epds have been a big help. Another factor is to look at the bull's dam's udder. If a cow always gets bred on time, raises a nice calf and is otherwise a good cow I would put a good udder history bull on her and keep every heifer. Then do the same with the heifer calves and eventually you have a herd of good cows with good udders.
