NE Iowa | If you like her, keep her and take a chance. We've had some 'poor uddered cows' over the years that have had daughters out of bulls that totally corrected the flaws - daughters have great udders. On the flip side we've seen cows with good udders have daughters out of bulls that threw poor udders on females - so the bull has as much influence as the dam, in my experience. If she turns out to NOT have a good udder, you can always move her down the road, but I'd take a chance and not send her off without giving her a chance if you like everything else about her. | |
