Any cow goes ok if they are fully fed. Smaller framed cows seem to do better. Holstein x Jersey do well.
We will run a Jersy bull with heifers, perhaps after syncronising them and using sexed semen. That will provide us with some good X's and build our dairy numbers.
Is it crazy to consider going back in??
