east central iowa | I have run keetons and they r fine. The problem is I back in a corner of the field and the keetons will catch grass or dirt and bend down and then the hose pulls off. Makes a mess and u don't get your starter where u want it. Second problem is my wavevision tubes don't pull out if I have keetons. U have to pull off guage wheels ,scrapers,and one opener to remove my wavevision seed tube. This is a pia. I do think it's probably better for the seed and Insecticide coverage with the keetons. Accraplant has a new furrow applicator that I like but it is putting starter in the bottom of the furrow. Sorry so long.
