N. IL | I need to change oil in a Toyota 8FGU25 forklift. The manual calls for SAE 30 or 40, depending on temperature. It is a newer model (2011) with all the emissions equipment (LP/gasoline engine). It is a 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with 900 hours.
It runs in winter (below freezing) and spring/summer 60-80 degrees, indoors mostly but not temp controlled.
Would a multi-grade 10-30 or 5-30 synthetic be okay in this application? We generally use SAE 30 in air-cooled engines only. | |
