I agree with the others. The 1200 pivot planters are extremely underrated IMO. I've had mine for several seasons with very few issues. Some people say I need to upgrade, but I see no reason to. I replace the disc openers, shoes, and firming points every 2-3 years. I no till most of my beans with only residue managers. The hydraulic drive is nice and bulk fill is the only way I'll go. It's nice to be able to run the planter with the tether cord. I feel the biggest downfall of them is the weight. They are heavy and will sink down in soft ground conditions. But, all newer planters are heavy, too.
