We ran a CX 72 with plastic teeth and a RX60 with SS, Really did not see much difference in hard red spring wheat or flax. Rotor loss in hard threshing SW was never more than 1 bpa. We ran the rotors no faster than necessary to strip tough wheat. You get far less wear on the SS teeth if you run them cup down and we had no problem stripping one of the toughest HRSW varieties with the cup down.
