That said the over whelming majority of my interior fence is one wire pretty loose so I can drove over it with a atv about any place. Calves will not respect a 1 wire fence 2 is better, on the bottom wire yes it still needs to be high enough cattle will eat under it, my guess is 18 inches more or less try not less however. I have seen many times calves out grazing and come running back to the herd when I move the herd. When the cows are moved off they go again, kinda funny when you think about it. | |
