I think you are right Gary the feedlots have to be getting tired of loosing money, calves will get cheaper.  Yesterday at the sale the short breds brought a lot of money yet same with day old calves. Cattle going back to the farm brought good money ones going to feedlot not so good. Some really nice holstein steers 400 pounds  they brought .90 some cents a pound.
