Subject: RE: Washing round balers

north-central Indiana west of Fulton
I'll be different and say we .....or my son uses high pressure on the round baler. I clean the small square. He spends quite a bit of time with air blowing it off then high pressure washes then soap and water on the sheet metal. Just be careful around bearings. Let it dry and lubricate everything and spray the inside and under the side shields with a mix of used hydraulic oil and diesel through an air powered can. Never have had a bearing out. Round baler is 11 years old and small square is 35.
