Floyd County, Iowa | Wish I had read the links provided above. I've got 7 on my desktop (this laptop is XP, which I really like), and was getting popups all the time to upgrade to 10.
I always just clicked the "remind me later" tab. Today, I got one that said it was the last time to put it off, and I couldn't get it off the screen without setting a definite time to upgrade, or else it would automatically upgrade on the next startup.
Had to call Microsoft and let the guy from India take over the 'puter to get it out. I like 7 on the desktop, and it does what I need, so don't want 10. | |
