West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | How's holding out for $3.18 or $2.90 futures the last year and half been working for the bears? Removing hedges around that $3.50 money and then letting corn run higher to whatever level a person dares re-hedge has worked quite well for a year and half now. It will work until it doesn't. Just like the 80's and 90's.
If a person has their very important COP in line. I kind of like this boring trade .25 either side of that other USDA published number of $3.70...I think $4.54 was published by the USDA also. ;)
After this marketing year those USDA numbers will re-set. |
