Manitoba, Canada | The statement that pressure is pressure is somewhat correct. The pipe would burst at a similar pressure whether it contains a liquid or a gas. That's not the issue. The issue is what happens when it does fail. This is a case where if you don't understand the process just believe that there is a reason people are concerned.
