Iowa | Bought some tomatoes at Christmas time sat on the kitchen sink 3-4 weeks never ripened, never changed in any way, tasted bad the day I bought them and still tasted the same way when I gave up on them and threw them away. They would make a great store variety since they seem to last forever on a shelf. Will say that we have bought a small cherry tomato that has a good shelf life and taste. Its as near a garden taste as any store variety but pricey at $6 a box. | |
