Your basis could and most likely will get worse if there is a futures rally. We are approaching the time of year that a futures rally of some sort should develop. What's the price of oil/gas going to do? I would be leery of holding out for a bunch more basis between now and then. Perhaps lock some in and let the rest ride? Does your E plant have rail access?
