N.W. Ohio | The post below on Simple marketing and HTA's leads me to this question. Did several HTA's with local Ethanol plant last summer when we were having the water damage rally. Did these based off the July 16, at the time their June16 bid was -12 July. Have watched the June basis improve to +27, then drop to +25, now back at +27. Looking at historical basis charts, I am thinking could strenghten a bit more before summer. But then again, this is an unusually good basis for June. Main reason I am still somewhat bullish basis, is the Eastern cornbelt corn crop was reduced somewhat by the weather. Am I foolish for holding out for more? | |
