Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I have a hard time feeling sorry for the high paid upper management that made themselves look smart when times were good and sales were easy. Going to take a lot smarter people to manage through this and probably fewer of them. There is still a lot of efficiencies to be found in the AG businesses. I think farmers have figured that out real fast. Suppliers on the other hand have been slower because most of them don't have teeth in the game. Just collecting the big check every two weeks. Not much incentive to change until the check doesn't show up and your out of a job. Then it is too late. |
