I've listened to some of those fellows over on Crop Talk for years and have been just amazed at the number & variety of herbicide applications they talk about. I budget one application of generic roundup with one possible rescue application for years. Going to to be hard to cut back. ( I know, I know, wait until I get a resistent weed population. But the free market isn't paying me to manage my farm for longterm productivity. It's paying me for short term least cost product.) |
