Chart data source is USDA, and shows significant loss from June to October in all geographical area cash corn markets, more in some areas than others. Cash corn has average seasonal high in May to June in nearly all geographical areas. Playing the seasonals game, sell old crop corn in May, is often the most rewarding market strategy.
