That's a fair enough point. All the PWM valve regulated hydraulic drives I have seen to date have been for closed center hydraulics. I think rawson's operate on an open center principle, but they are not PWM valve regulated.

I would expect running two drives off one SCV would be simple enough with a closed center system. Running two open center systems would likely get complicated. Seeing as any halfway modern tractor has a closed center hydraulics system already, I can't see a good reason to use an open center hydraulic drive system.
