I guess dish soap would make a lot of bubbles, but one good way to clean the oil out of cooling systems is use Cascade soap, it usually comes out with a couple of rinses.

A couple of questions. Why would there be oil in the cooling system? Perhaps detergent isn't the solution. Secondly, what's the value of a cleaner cooling system? I mean, if it's not clogged or scaled-up in any way?


i never said there was oil in the system, I said IF you have oil in the system, Cascade is a good way to get it out, a trick many have used for a long time----THEREFOR if OP has soap in his radiator it is not a big deal for him. Secondly, any contamination in a system may reduce its effectiveness due to blockage, or compromise the additives
