If we do get a 2012 type weather event it will likely have to be located somewhere else. The biggest deviation in precip and temp in the first half of 2012 was located roughly along a line from Little Rock to Ft. Wayne. As of this past weekend our area which is located along this line has had 2in of rain and we are sitting full of moisture along with another good chance of 1in+ in the coming week. While things can change quickly, it doesn't feel like 2012 when we missed the late winter rains and were planting by the end of Mar. So far it has been a pretty normal late winter time frame, with just a little warmer temps. Feels more like 2010,2011 type spring coming with plenty of rain and warm temps.
