Thanks guys. I guess I'm not talking about 10 mph. I was wondering if hydraulic systems can allow me to do a better job of seed to soil contact and even depth (for even emergence) at 6 or 7 mph than pneumatic downforce can do at 4 or 5 mph. If it can, then even if it does not equate to higher yield, as long as I can maintain yield the increased productivity could pay for the system.
Any no-till guys on the high speed planting band wagon?
