| We too, used a Hiniker single shovel cultivator for several years with a stainless tube out to the ends of the sweep. Works really, really well for applying UAN. But still have all the issues that are related to running a cultivator thru knee high plus corn. This past year we put together a very nice rig from the donor Hiniker toolbar. Bolted on Yetter coulter/knife units every other row. Run the knife about 3" deep. Very low disturbance. Worked flawlessly, and raised the best yields we ever raised this last year. | |
