I understand your frustration, even if you are slightly exaggerating.  Some of the guys who had to disperse cow herds not long ago because they had no water or feed would probably beg to differ about just how bad eastern Illinois could be to operate in.

That basically shows what I saw from a couple trips through IL last summer, though.  Driving through the really tough areas only took about an hour, everywhere else looked okay to pretty good.
