Central Alberta | 50 and 100 are quite common around here but as pointed out they are worth a lot less than the US versions. We are seeing some food price inflation due to the low loonie but not as much as you would expect given how much the low loonie. There is a lot of volatility in produce prices: high one week and significantly lower the next. There are some featured specials on some items that are cheaper than ever. The zero hedge article about Canadian grocery prices was greatly exaggerated. | |
