SMS advanced and we built another online segment to make data input easier. The collection of information is the worst part of the whole thing because you need a ACCURATE cost for everything on your farm. (basic will not allow you to run the P/L)
Can you please explain in more detail what you did with the "online segment" I'm in a similar boat as you as I played around with and like idea of it but without getting very in depth and putting a value to each hybrid of seed corn, chemical used etc, operation pass it just printed pretty colors that were similar to a yield map. The more VRT a person does the greater the value in these P/L maps I could see. I wish SMS had a accounting option similar to farmworks. Farmworks try's to tie mapping in with accounting but I feel there mapping program is sub par to SMS. |
