IL | Ive been working on profit loss mapping with in sms for the last three months or so. For those who havent seen this it basically allows you to map all as applied data and then generate a map with profit loss by the foot. It takes into consideration all factors on your farm/fields to give u a very accurate profit/loss. Although I have a large pool to work from im wondering if anyone else has been using this to make decisions on their farm? Looking for some ideas on things you maybe changing that I havent thought of. This is only my second year doing this kind of analysis and am looking for some out of the box thinking of ways to better use this information.
I have changed population, varieties, fertilizer, and nitrogen to become more profitable. | |
