Subject: Tiling and Water in Post Hole


Central Missouri
Have dug some holes out in fields last cupla winters. These were dug this past December. First picture was fairly close to the highway. Second was 150 feet away. 3rd was in the first terrace channel up the slope about another 200 feet away. Tiling crew showed up Tues and installed mains Tues/Wed.

I think this will be the first upland pattern tile in Cooper county. I have the first pattern tile bottom field which was installed about 8 years ago and it increased average corn yield since then 35 bushels an acre.
