SD | So last fall my local JD dealer called and said when you get done with harvest we have a repair program going on for combines. $0 down 0% interest and no payments until October 1st, 2016. So they made the repairs after harvest on the machine. Yesterday I received a bill in the mail and they want the balance paid in full or they will charge us 15.4% interest??? A neighbor had the same concerns with part purchases he doesn't remember making. Is JD Financial going broke and need the money or is this a scheme they use to get more money out of their customers on these 0% programs?
The invoices they send out are somewhat misleading. They say $0 is due, but you will get charged interest. The billed items are always pretty vague in their item descriptions.
Anybody else have issues this year or in the past with JD Financial?
Is this legal?
