My bad. My first calculation was for wrong. I used the wrong row length. One question though for you did you figure two tires?

regardless,

But look at it like this, half mile rows running crossways. 2640 ft divided by 2.5 feet (30 inch row) means you could run over 1056 rows with two tires or 4224 plants if you get two with each tire. (1056 rows x 2 plants per tire x 2 tires)

2640 feet (half mile) x 90 (boom width) divided by 43560 means you spray 5.45 ac per pass.

So you destroy 4224 plants in 5.45 ac or 775 plants per ac. If you plant 32000 that is about 2.5 percent.

Taking your 4224 plants per pass, that is about 2112 ft of corn plants drove over. Going with the rows you usually take out 2 rows, so you that makes 1056ft of being off the row in a 1/2 mile pass (2640 ft)

1056/2640 = 40%

If you drive over corn 40% of the time, you need to never run a sprayer.

Hell I could have a 12 pack of bud light and a couple shots in me and not be that bad.
