I almost bought a kubota but they sure looked light duty to me. I know seem to get along fine though.


I realize looks can be deceiving, but in this case I'm not sure that they are. Have two neighbors, one on either side of me that opted to buy Kubota instead of 6000 series Deere's because of the price difference. Later they both personally told me they regretted that decision. Just not enough cast iron. The one neighbor was plowing with his and left the plow sitting in the field with the three point hitch arms dangling from it. The arms were still attached to chunks of cast that had broken out of the rear end. You could see right into the rear end. Not a pretty sight. IMO, they aren't built for heavier type work.
