We have a 6150R and a 5100E. The 5100E is going to be too small for what you want to do. You need to go to a larger frame if considering JD. I can't speak for the rest but JD has been making these tractors more compact with more hp with smaller engines which distorts their capabilities. Sometimes you do need weight and mass for handling big round bales or haybusters. The 5100 is I think 85 pto hp which would put almost the same hp as a 4010 or early 4020. Yet you can make two 5100s out of a 4020.
