Here | Bad batteries can take out alternators, bad alternator can take batteries out. We have a local electrical shop rebuild our alt. don't have very many problems with them. If they can't rebuild we always replace with a NEW alt. not rebuilt. Same with starters rebuilts are junk, they may have lifetime warranty but how many do you want to install for free? Like someone said ck the 3 wire connection at the alt. the pins won't make good contact and will come and go. Ck for voltage drop between batteries and ground and left battery pos. to right battery pos. terminals. | |
