I've strip tilled and planted thousands of acres with an EZ Steer system with RTK.  I've since upgraded to  an integrated system.  There's been a lot of times I would have traded my Geosteer back for the EZ Steer system in a heartbeat.  I have no experience with JD ATU's, but there are steering wheel systems that do just fine.  The integrated is nicer for picking up your line when turning back in, but overall the EZ Steer works fine.
