That's hard to believe. My landlords are all pretty easy to get along with but to suggest I could have continued to rent their farms the past 4 year with a rent that $3.70 corn could service is pretty hard to believe. As a matter of fact I wouldn't have felt comfortable paying rent that low. All contracts are verbal with a lower base than I've paid but most farms have gotten a voluntary bonus check 4 or 5 times the last 8 years.
