SW WI | Don, can you explain your 90% cash sold hogs 2016 a little more. I am very naive with the different things that can be done in the hog market. I wasn't aware of packers offering a "cash" price for months going forward. I have always been steered, by the packer, to use the board if I want price protection. I am very interested in a cash option, since sadly, there are a lot of games played with the basis vs. board when delivery is immenant. Although I'm sure a packer will work in a substantial basis to offer that cash price for outward months.
By the way 100% meal hedged for 2016
0% meal 2017 but soon to change.
