Any chance you could still own planters together? One for corn, and one for beans. There are several benefits to this as others have mentioned. As far as 30"/15" debate, flip a coin. Soil type and weather will have alot to do with it. I plant some 30" on a farm, and my custom harvester plants 15". He has said numerous times that he is not sure why he is still planting the 15" when my 30" are always comparable. The 15" will most often be easier to cut. I have a pretty nice older 7200 wing fold 12r30 that sees very little action. I'd be happy to rent it out if we could make it work logistically.
