Subject: Going from 15" beans back to 30" - unintended consequences

20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
It wouldn't be this year, but I've considered going from 15" beans to 30" beans for the reason of having less planter to maintain. Selling my 12/24 for a 12 row 30" planter.

I'd like to hear opinions from folks who might have done the same. In my life I have raised 7.5" drilled beans, 15" beans 18" beans, 20" beans and 1 small early planted field of 30" beans.

The yield on that field Vs my 15" beans was not worth comparing IMO. That field was planted 2 weeks before any other beans and was a 2.1 beans on a well drained farm. Vs later maturing later planted beans
