In most of the corn belt, farmers don't move corn in April or May since they are too busy planting. A lot of corn moves in January as the ground freezes and the roads aren't polsted. From Feb 1 to April 1 the roads are posted and farmers ability to move grain is really limited unless it sits on a highway or is elevator stored.
