don't sell it all over the scales... thats not a good idea...
Honestly most ground could be rented out for more than what you will make selling blindly over the scales. sad part is that most rented ground makes their money by pricing outside of October or better than expected crops. You can either get good at selling the stored grain before you grow it when rallies occur due to uncertainty... and sell your grain that is stored in your home bins later (assuming thats where the other half is at) or I would rent it out.
if you can't give your focus to the farm its better run by someone else. that is true with any business... good luck and sorry for your loss...
if i personally had grain i would hang on till early April or $3.90 corn and 9.40 soy (on the board not cash) whichever comes first
